GENERAL INFORMATION

LAB RULES

1). No food or drinks while working on the computers.

2). Do not remove or add any applications to the station computer.

3). Do not change the background on the monitor.

4). Use the JMC server to store images. 

5). Do not leave lab before the assigned completion time, even if you have submitted your work for the day.

6). Close programs and exit server when you are finished. 

Understanding the Photoshop CS6 workspace. In the accompanying video I introduce several of the most important features of the workspace including the toolbar, menu, and panels.

First, the lab time is equal to 1.5 class periods. If you are absent from the lecture and the lab without excuse you will have missed 2.5 classes. Please refer to the syllabus for attendance policy. Do not switch lab periods. If you are assigned a Tuesday lab that is when you are expected to attend. 

Lab time is dedicated to learning how to edit and process images. At the same time, there may be demonstrations of equipment or lighting during the period as well. Assignments are due at the end of the lab period.
